3.1.2.11. What would the average monthly cost for utilities be? Would they be expensive and would they vary much?

Although all costs are obviously dependent on usage, the rough monthly average for water and gas would be around 2000 yen; and the rough average for electricity would be anything from 6000 to 10000 yen. The costs for water and gas are relatively constant, whereas electricity costs can get really expensive during the summer (air-con) and winter (eletric heater) months.
